Family Day in Alberta is a chance to spend some time with those closest to you and for our government Family Day is about how we enable you to do just that.
I’m proud of how Future Ready is helping to ensure that all children are ready to learn and can take the greatest advantage of their schooling. Alberta Education has funded a school nutrition pilot program with 14 schools across the province. You can find out more about this pilot program and about nutrition guidelines f...or children and youth here https://www.alberta.ca/release.cfm….
The new Children’s Service Ministry will help support vulnerable children whose homes may no longer be a safe space. With the new ministry, there will be more resources and more attention dedicated to children, their families, and their communities. The Children’s Services Ministry is also responsible for child care and early learning and development programs. Many of these programs, such as Parent Link Centres, are available across the province.
For more information on any of these programs, or if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact my office at 780-414-0743 or if you prefer to stop by and chat in person my constituency office is located at 10208 – 112 Street.
Whatever form your family takes I hope you are able to enjoy and appreciate the time you spend with them on Family Day and throughout the year.
